Congratulations 🎉 to our students that scored Mastery or Advanced on at least one LEAP subtest in 2023! 🟣🟢🟡 Who knew a three-day week could be jam-packed with so many activities!? Students enjoyed our annual Mardi Gras parade hosted by the 8th-grade class. Beauty queens, 8th-grade Krewes, Court, Royalty, and some former Herndon teachers threw lots of loot as we wrap up this Mardi Gras season. 📿🎭⚜ 💙💛🖤 The winner of the cheerleader's coin drive was Mr. O'Neal! He was slimed not once, but three times! Thanks for being such a good sport, Mr. O'Neal; and thank you to everyone who donated to help our cheerleaders go to Disney this spring! Our Student Council hosted the Pack the Pantry food drive at the end of October.  Because of you, over 1,300 pounds of food and $500 were donated to the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana! We cannot thank our Herndon families enough for always supporting our community service efforts. Congratulations to Mrs. Corbell and Mrs. Coleman's homeroom classes for winning a pizza party for the most donations!
